Happy Christmas!

We had a merry time yesterday decking out The Milk House in its Christmas finery with some beautiful garlands from Astilbe & Sorrel. Love them or hate them, those Yuletide tunes are filling the Bar and the log fire’s ablaze!

We’re delighted to have launched our range of festive menus and very excited that ten pages of our most delicious Christmas ideas are featured in the December issue of Kent Life! There are plenty of copies at TMH – come and have a look!

We hope to play a part filling your Christmas season with fun, friendship and fabulous food! And (when you’re not dashing about sourcing surprises for stockings or stockpiling smoked salmon) we’re looking forward to celebrating a jolly and delicious Christmas and New Year with you at The Milk House!

We’ve got lots lined up to ensure it’s a very special time of year – from mulled cider to a chorus from the carol singers at Trinity Church! We’re even expecting a visit from Father Christmas himself on Sunday 21 December… we hope you’ve been good!

We’re perhaps most excited about the magnificentMilk House Party Barn that’s being raised for New Year’s Eve. With live music from the Devil’s Cut Combo, cocktails and dancing, we hope you’ll party like you’ve never partied before and get 2015 off to a bang!

If you’re feeling a little delicate after all that revelry, we’ve got just the thing! With a brilliant Brunch Menuuntil midday and plenty of Bloody Marys to soothe sore heads, we’ll make sure you have a perfect start to the New Year. We’re now taking brunch bookings from 9am until midday and the menu’s online too.

With all these treats in store, our December schedule’s pretty packed but if you’re hoping to host a party at The Milk House for friends, family or colleagues, there are still a few tables available. Get in touch if you’d like to use our barn for an extra special bash – it’s up from 19 December (in time for a champion Christmas Eve)!

Come roast your chestnuts and we’ll see you under the mistletoe!

PS. If you struggle to lay your hands on a copy of Kent Life this month, we thought you might like to know that we won Newcomer of the Year in this year’s Food & Drink Awards. We’re really very thrilled and grateful to Sarah Sturt and the team for helping to make 2014 such a special year!
