That’s right everybody, it’s nearly here…. Milk Fest 2018 The beer’s in the cellar, the bunting’s up and the stage is being raised. We hope you’re in full summer swing ready to enjoy a weekend of celebrations at The Milk House all the way through to Monday evening.
It all begins on Friday 24 August with Pimms O’Clock & Twilight Tunes from singer-songwriters Alana Hazzard, Nick Eve and Access All Areas.
On Saturday 25 August, it’s all jolly good family fun. While the kids enjoy the bouncy castle, the British bubble, face-painting and garden games, stay for lunch or dinner and enjoy our BBQ on the terrace accompanied by a feast for the ears with tunes from Max Holley, Katie Kittermaster, Pete Gardiner, I am Aquitaine, Alibi and The Powers rock us into the evening!
Festival fever continues on Sunday 26 August with a Homegrown & Handmade fair showcasing some of our favourite local people. Our full fat festival BBQ will continue to cook up chargrilled treats all afternoon and evening while the music plays on. There’ll be performances from Max Walker, Sam Easton, Milky Negro, Emma Povey, Caleb & Band and Milly Mae bringing the night to an exuberant conclusion. Our Dining Room will be open for Sunday lunch and dinner too.
On Monday don’t miss the Sissinghurst Village Fete and then join us back at the pub to keep the party spirit alive with tunes from More Than Echoes, Lee Golledge followed by the super fun Tragic Mushrooms.
