A very Happy Christmas from us all at The Milk House!

Thank you all for making our first full year such a joy – it’s been wonderful to see so many of you returning to spend our second Christmas season with us in Sissinghurst.

It’s been a jam-packed month (and it’s not over yet!) with many special celebrations, a chorus of carols, a surprise visit from the big man in red and plenty of festive cheer! We hope it’s been enjoyable for everyone, and we’ve certainly had fun.

Alongside this, we’ve had a barn raising with the help of Gotcha Records, building a beautiful space for us all to enjoy… The heaters are in place, the fairy lights are on, and the bar is stocked, so let the music begin…!

We hope we’ll see you this evening amid preparations for Christmas morning, so come gather in the The Milk House Party Barn with friends and family for a bit of fun and light relief!

From 9pm we’re being joined by talented local team Alison Quinn & Catch 22 for live music. There’ll be singing, saxophone, and plenty of reasons to start celebrating… So sample our Christmas Cocktails or crack open the champagne!

Tomorrow, we hope you’ll have a jolly Christmas Day celebrating with loved ones. Our bar is open so, if it all gets too much at home, meet us under the mistletoe – the perfect hiding spot from the heat of the kitchen and family disputes over Scrabble.

If you’re planning to walk off the excesses of Christmas feasting with a long walk on Boxing Day, we hope you’ll stop at The Milk House for some refreshment before, after, or even during! Save the leftover turkey for another day and make the most of our long lunch service from 12–4pm.
