Sissinghurst’s feeling spooky and we’re looking forward to greeting lots of baby ghosts, mini monsters and witches-in-training tonight with gruesome sweets to reward the most fearsome and frightening.
Social media wizards can also ‘trick or tweet’ your little devil’s costume at @TMH_TN17 to redeem a quart of blood for one night only. (Parents concerned about health and safety can opt for local apple juice with a ‘haunting’ dash of blackcurrant cordial!)
If you’re too sensible for dressing up, why not indulge in the spirit of All Hallows Eve with a warming bowl of (what else!) ‘fright-free’ pumpkin soup? We guarantee it’ll banish the terrifying rumbles of hunger and the painful chill of the weather!
As half term draws to a close, we hope you’ll bring the family to the bar on Sunday. Take the chance to relax before returning to the madness of the school run… and savour the last opportunity before Spring 2015 to enjoy a Happy Piggy, Plucky Hen or Angry Ox.
The pizza oven’s going into hibernation until the terrace is a sunnier and more pleasant place to dine al fresco. But don’t panic! . To fill this pizza-shaped hole, we’ll be serving our Classic Menu on Sunday evenings with much-loved TMH burgers, fish and chips, sausages and mash… and more!
Speaking of classic pub fare, we’ve also finished putting together our special set menu for New Year’s Eve. Inspired by traditional favourites, from the standard ‘Scotch Egg’ to the popular ‘Ploughmans’, you’ll see we’ve given the dishes a bit of a TMH twist! Book now to ensure you see the New Year in ‘in style’.
You’ll be able to continue the fun and festivities in The Milk House Party Barn with cocktails, rockin’ beats from the Devil’s Cut Combo, dancing and plenty more to get 2015 off to a bang!
Christmas is creeping up on us and if you’re planning ahead take a look at our menus online. We’re almost fully booked over the weekends but there are still tables during the week – and we’d love to see you!
We also had an exciting Christmas photoshoot with Kent Life this week and we hope you’ll look out for the December edition to see The Milk House decked in its festive finery…
Finally, don’t forget to vote for The Milk House in the 2015 Taste of Kent Awards – we’d appreciate it enormously.
