It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we’re all ready for Christmas at The Milk House. We’ve decked our halls in festive finery with some pretty spruces from Hole Park Gardens and glorious garlands from florist Astilbe & Sorrel.
The fire’s stoked and – for better or worse – the yuletide tunes are playing on repeat! The Party Barn’s back on the terrace too, with its own bar, stage, disco ball and herd of pink flocked reindeer(!), perfect for your big brilliant bashes.
Last week we kicked off the season of celebration with our new Winter menus, packed with key Christmas ingredients we hope will the tantalise taste buds and get you in a merry mood… chestnut puree, truffle cream, gingerbread, mince pies, and much much more!
Alongside our seasonal dishes and perfect puds, we’re serving up mugs of Kentish Pip mulled cider with a fiery ginger kick to warm you through. And what’s Christmas without a bit of bubbly? First up, it’s festive family film time this Sunday from 4–6pm. Cosy down with the kids for a Christmas classic and cinnamon popcorn in the Party Barn. Tempted to settle in for all that fun? As a special tea-time treat, little ones can choose anything from our Children’s Menu with a yummy chocolate log pud for just £8. Meanwhile for bigger appetites, our Sunday Lunch Menu will be running all day.

There’s no chance of a silent night in Sissinghurst on Thursday 17 December as brass players from Cranbrook Town Band will be joining us to play some yuletide tunes on trombone.

On Friday 18 December carol singers from Trinity Church will be filling The Milk House with Christmas cheer. This year the group are raising money in aid of Maidstone Day Centre with every hope of bring more joy to the world. We ding dong merrily hope you’ll join the chorus!
